The hedge fund managers that we select are interviewed by us twice a year. They keep us updated and informed on a monthly basis about their long short positions on several markets. Our HF desk compares the performances of each single manager with our internal benchmarks and at the end of every quarter, we know whether to overweigh or underweigh the allocation of single funds.
For the most demanding clients we offer the creation of “custom-made” investment vehicles such as closed hedge funds and funds of funds that we set up and manage according to the objectives indicated by the client with respect to a target on returns and volatility which normally satisfy the 3:1 ratio.
We don’t look for perfection because it doesn’t exist. We are satisfied with excellence, something which is certainly possible.
